Some women think that if a man ejaculates in the water (like in a swimming pool), she will get pregnant if she swims in that water. Sperms are quite fragile and once outside the body rapidly die within a few seconds. Plus, the water has chemicals or detergents which rapidly kill the sperm. It is very unlikely that sperm can travel up the vagina after an ejaculate in water and induce a pregnancy. So I think it is safe to swim in water under such circumstances. However, do write back if you do get pregnant this way!
