I have heard that having sex in water can prevent pregnancy. Is this true?

You have been reading too many junk magazines. Sex in water is may sound fun and romantic but it is an illegal practice in most public water areas in North America, unless you own a swimming pool or a hot tub. There are some individuals who believe that sex in water does not lead to pregnancy. This is a myth of gargantuan magnitude- rest assured water or no water; sperm are hardy, can swim and fertilize the egg in your uterus. If you do not want to get pregnant while having sex in water, you must use some type of protection. Condoms are not recommended as they often slip. Moreover, there are also studies which show that chemicals in water like chlorine, salt or the temperature also make the condom ineffective.
