Is sex safe in a Jacuzzi or a sauna?

Sex in the sauna or a Jacuzzi sounds erotic and sexy, but in reality it sucks. The problem with sex in an environment with too much water is that the genital secretions are easily washed away. This leads to dryness in the vagina and uncomfortable sex, at least for the female. If you are not planning to get pregnant, then you must use some type of protection. Condom usage in the Jacuzzi or sauna is definitely not recommended as there is evidence to show that heat can destroy the condom lining. The friction caused by lack of lubrication can even lead to minor perforation in the condom.
Some type of lubrication is required to enhance the sexual pleasure of sex in water. Sex experts recommend use of silicone based lubrications which are water resistant and do not harm the condom. However, these lubricants do tend to be expensive and hard to wash off the body later on.
