Recently I was told I had a lipoma on my upper
arm and my surgeon says I need to get it removed. Any ideas?
Your surgeon is FOS. If the lipoma is not
bothering you, leave it alone. Most lipomas are small and if they do not
trouble you, then there is no harm in leaving them alone. Of course, you must
know it is a lipoma and nothing else if you leave it alone. If the mass has
been there for a long time, has not changed in size and causes no symptoms, I
would change the surgeon. He only appears to be interested in cutting you up.
