Acoustic wave therapy for Cellulite

Can Acoustic Wave Therapy help remove cellulite?

This is a relatively new method of breaking up cellulite or body fat. A machine generates ultrasonic waves and the manufacturers claim that this breaks up cellulite pockets--BULLSHIT.

The doctors who recommend AWT indicate that not only can the therapy remove cellulite but also helps improve elasticity of skin, makes skin smoother and evenly reshapes the body (same bullcrap you hear all the time).

The procedure can be done on any part of the body and only takes a few minutes. There is no pain and no need for any type of anesthesia. Most spas and resorts have people who perform this therapy; you will be booked for a minimum of 6-12 sessions over a period of 4-6 weeks. Even if you undergo 10, 000 sessions- all you will lose is your money.

There is ZERO proof that this crap works. After the treatment, you will be told to exercise and wear compression stockings. So if the thing works, why do all this extra stuff? Therefore, my best advice is to keep away from this bogus therapy. Save your hard-earned money for something more worthwhile.

There are 100s of online reviews about this treatment and everyone has the same story-they were scammed. AWT is $ 500 per session and the entire program costs thousands of dollars. In today’s difficult economic times, if you want to lose cellulite, walk more and eat less.

Leave these BS therapies for the doctors and their gullible/stupid wives/girlfriends who have money to waste.
