Glucosamine for arthritis

Does glucosamine help people with arthritis?

Trust me, it is a BS supplement. There is zero evidence that glucosamine can do anything. It is widely recommended but rest assured, you will be throwing your money down the toilet. Doctors and all others who recommend it are simply scamming patient. Its effectiveness is questionable and the literature is full of uncertainties.

If your arthritis bothers you, lose weight, exercise everyday, eat right and do not smoke. These simple life style changes will help you overcome most problems in life. In general, healthcare workers who recommend glucosamine or chondroitin either have shares in the product and/or simply scamming patients with bogus products.
