Allergies and Acadryl

My pharmacist says I should take acadryl for my allergies. Is this a good drug?

Acadryl is a very old drug. Most likely your pharmacist cannot get rid of his/her supplies, so the fool wants to sell it to you. The drug is useless. Acadryl is also known as Benadryl, sominex or unison. It is a first generation anti histamine used for treatment of allergies, hay fever and symptoms of the common cold.  While the drug may help reduce some symptoms of an allergy, it has way too many side effects. Most reputable doctors do not recommend acadryl for anything. There are far better and safer drugs available to treat allergies. Because it does cause sedation, some people do use it as a sleeping pill, but the benefits are not long lasting. I suggest you change your pharmacist because this idioit wants to dispense the supplies from the 1950s-f...ing arsehole.
